Chapter Six, Oddessy into 2012.- Kisses and Guns

As Shekinah opened the note, Zephyr drew in a sharp breath, as if it were his last. His hand was holding hers tightly, and Zephyr never wanted to let it go.
     "This is the worst yet!" Shekinah said, handing the note over the Zephyr. The driver looked back at them, and gave them the funniest look they'd ever seen.
     "Sorry about driving and English. You okay, people?" The driver had the funniest way of speaking, and it made the duo laugh. They exchanged serious looks and Zephyr leaned over to shut the privacy door. Shekinah nodded and squeezed Zephyr's hand, which seemed giant in comparison to hers. He looked down on her, her lovely black hair, with the one colored streak in it, and her beautiful blue eyes. Her lips were full and he just wanted to kiss them. Shekinah snapped, raising one eyebrow.
     "Read it," She said. Her voice was cold and forceful, just as the snow that was falling outside the car. As Zephyr opened the note, he let out a cry. He read it aloud.
     "As you are reading this, the car behind you is loaded with explosives and guns. The men in it will end your life. Be careful how you act, loving couple. Enjoy the ball, and oh, don't trip over your feet." Shekinah was shaking, her British accent highlighted by the fear she was feeling.
     "Don't worry! We'll be fine, we'll be fine." She pulled Zephyr into a hug, while he seemed frozen in time. It was obvious they both feared for their lives, that seemed to have just started. As they came to a stop, the driver opened the privacy door and handed Zephyr two ring boxes, each with a note.
     "My fucking God!" Shekinah yelled. "When does this bullshit end, when does this stop?" She was angry, and Zephyr let no emotion cross his voice as he opened each box.
     "Rings, wedding rings. This is messed up shit, Shekinah. If the person doing this expects us to be a c-" But Shekinah cut him off with a kiss, a forceful kiss as the windows opened and cameras flashed. She slipped each of the rings onto the correct fingers and pulled away, leaving Zephyr speechless.
     "They are expected us, love." Shekinah said with a wink, as she opened the door.
